Weed treatment should be applied at least three times per season. The new, softer, weed control products need to be applied more frequently and at higher rates. As a result, we have added an additional application to each program. Now, more than ever, it is critical to be on an annual, weed management program to reduce weeds to a minimum. Although these new weed products are not perfect, we are seeing over 90% weed reduction when applied along with our custom made fertilizers in our programs. Weed treatments cannot stop a seed from growing. It only impacts an existing weed that is contacted by the product. This treatment is done only as needed and only where weeds exist by a licensed professional using an IPM approach. People and pets may resume activity on the lawn again as soon as it is dry.
