Mosquitoes have a very hyper-sensitive sense of smell which is how they find us and why some attempt to repel them with citronella candles and scented products applied to our skin. But there is one thing they hate more than lemon, and that is garlic. It is estimated that they are 10,000 times more sensitive to garlic than we are. This all natural control consists of a unique formulation of garlic oil. We don't have to worry about the odour, however, as it goes away after several hours and we can't smell it anymore. Mosquitoes and black flies however, will stay away for approximately 4 weeks. Mosquitoes stay in the grass during the day and come out to feed at dusk. This treatment, when sprayed on the lawn, forces the mosquitoes to leave instantly and they will not return until the smell, undetectable to us, is gone. For season long relief, the Mosquito program will provide 4 applications between May and September.
